Santa has returned to the North Pole!
|
Because of the all the snow we have unexpectedly received, Santa has had to return to his North Pole workshop early to make sure all is on track for his big Christmas Eve ride.
The big guy has asked us to wish everyone in Vienna a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays and he hopes that we enjoy the white Christmas he has given us this year.
These conditions do not allow us to complete these Santa Runs (it is very difficult to do without Santa...), but we are already looking forward to next year. We hope to see you then!

2009 Santa Claus Schedule - UPDATED
|
The Vienna Volunteer Fire Department has once again been selected by the North Pole to escort Santa Claus around the Vienna area just before Christmas. Jolly Old Saint Nick will be riding around town in the VVFD's 1946 Maxim fire engine. For questions, please email us at santa@vvfd.org.
Please keep in mind that while we aim to cover every street in our area, it is nearly impossible to do so in the time frame. While we try to adhere to the schedule as best we can, weather and other factors may sometimes cause us to deviate from our schedule. While it is one of his favorites, our Maxim fire engine is not Santa's official sleigh, so we travel at a much slower speed than he does on Christmas eve.
Listen for the sirens and music in your neighborhood and come out to see Santa! Please come to your closest street corner for the best view!
